IGNITE Performing Arts

IGNITE Performing Arts, Inc. provides unique performing arts opportunities for students in Shelby County, Indiana and beyond.

IGNITE Winter Percussion was a 2024 World Finalist at WGI Percussion World Championships in Dayton, OH, and plans to return to World Championships in 2026. This program requires educational and design staff, equipment, instruments, props, travel costs, competition registration, and more.

Your investment in IGNITE is an investment in the dozens of students who participate. It allows them to develop performance skills, leadership skills, and discipline, gives them increased opportunities to qualify for awards and scholarships, and helps them to be better leaders in their high school band programs and in their communities.

Donations to IGNITE Performing Arts, Inc. are tax exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3). Online donations are done through the PayPal Giving Fund, so you will receive a receipt that you can use for tax purposes, and there will be no transaction fees charged to you or to IGNITE.

RaiseRight

You can also support IGNITE without spending any money you were not already going to spend. RaiseRight is an app that allows you to download, email, or ship gift cards companies you interact with every day.

Here are some tips to help you get the most out of RaiseRight:

Convenience

• Save cards directly to your wallet in the mobile app and use them any time by scanning a barcode in the app or entering the code in an online order.
• For gifts, order a physical card or have a card emailed.
• Save your payment methods for fast ordering.
• Click the heart to save a vendor to your favorites list.
• Order a physical card once, then you can reload the balance directly from the app. This works well for gas stations.

Minimize Fees

• Use your debit card for purchases under $29 (1% fee).
• Use Plaid or your routing/account number for purchases $29 and above ($0.29 flat fee).
• Order multiple physical cards in 1 shopping cart and order all at once to save on transaction and shipping.

Maximize Earnings

• When you sign up, put in a student name so that 80% of earnings go to that student’s season account.
• When browsing, sort by earnings to see which companies will pay us the most.
• If you are making an online purchase, buy a digital gift card, then click the link in the app to purchase online. You will earn both the card and from the online order.
• Watch for special bonus promotions that offer additional earnings.
